In 2007, Phoenix-based boxer Pete "the Punisher" Chavez founded The Chavez Boxing Foundation, a non-profit youth intervention program dedicated to providing a safe and healthy haven where young people can train and compete in the sport of amateur boxing.
The Chavez Boxing Foundation is a non-profit youth intervention/prevention program dedicated to providing a safe, positive haven in which our youth can train and compete in the sport of amateur boxing.
Through the sport of amateur boxing, our mission is to promote discipline, teamwork, dedication, and a healthy drug and alcohol free life style. Mentoring, counseling, tutoring, and bi-monthly motivational/educational guest speakers are just a few of the tools we also use to aid and encourage our youth.
Our goal is to not only train respectable amateur fighters but to train and create respectable citizens of the world.
